Job summary

Yona is seeking a Floor Care Technician in Minnesota to keep resident areas clean, safe, and welcoming. You will apply floor maintenance techniques, operate cleaning equipment, and support carpet care tasks while following safety procedures.

The ideal candidate has prior floor care experience, knowledge of equipment and methods, and a reliable schedule. This role requires physical effort, lifting up to 50 lbs, and punctual attendance to shifts.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a floor care technician or in related role preferred.
• Proven knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques required.
• Must be able to follow safety procedures due to physical risks.
• Requires frequent lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to be at work on time and at varying times of day.
• Must accomplish all responsibilities without supervision.
• Must provide a criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Maintains knowledge of principles of hard-surface floor maintenance and use proper procedures on hard floor care including stripping, refinishing and burnishing
• Utilizes equipment for cleaning of large area of floor surface
• Follows proper procedures on carpet including shampooing, extractions, spot cleaning, vacuuming, etc
• Operates floor care equipment as assigned
• Performs maintenance and restorative processes for all floor surface types
• Disinfects floor care equipment after each use
• Responsible for the safe and proper mixing and use of cleaning solutions and adheres to all safety precautions.
• Other duties and tasks as assigned by the supervisor
