Job summary

Citizens in Woburn, MA is seeking a skilled janitorial associate to clean and maintain floors across multiple facilities. You will operate floor machines, travel between sites within a designated route, and ensure upholstery remains in top condition.

The role requires 40 hours per week, with a schedule from 4:00PM to 2:00AM, Monday through Thursday, and potential overtime. Strong English communication and safety-conscious habits are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Experience in floor cleaning is required.
• Ability to travel to facilities within a designated route.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to read and write in English.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and climb stairs.

Responsibilities

• Perform floor cleaning and maintenance across various flooring types (VCT, ceramic tile, carpet, wood, LVT, vinyl, rubber tile).
• Operate floor machines and extractors to clean and sanitize flooring and upholstery.
• Travel to and from facilities within a designated route/radius.
• Maintain floors and upholstery in assigned facilities.
• Complete routine and special cleaning tasks; cover for janitorial staff when needed.
• Close out work orders using CMMS via cellphone, iPad, or computer at facilities.
• Communicate professionally with internal colleagues and external customers.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and materials in vehicles.
• Keep company vehicle and electronics in good condition.
