Job summary

BayCare Health System is seeking a Floor Care Technician for St. Joseph's North in Lutz, FL. The role supports hospital facilities with detailed floor care in patient and non-patient areas, following safety and infection control standards.

The position requires operating cleaning equipment, moving furniture, cleaning spills, and maintaining supplies and equipment. It is a full-time on-site role with shifts including every other weekend.

Qualifications

• Operate and maintain floor, carpet and upholstery cleaning equipment.
• Six Months of Floor Care experience required.

Responsibilities

• Performing detailed floor care in patient and non-patient areas.
• Specialized cleaning and departmental functions per hospital standards with safety and infection control.
• Moves and sets up furniture as needed.
• Cleans up spills and maintains equipment, furniture, and supplies to aid in cost control.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Facility: St. Joseph's North

Location: Lutz, FL

Shift: 8am-430pm

Schedule: Full Time, every other weekend

The Floor Care Technician Is Responsible For

• Performing detailed floor care
• Specialized cleaning and departmental functions in patient and non-patient areas and assigned floor care functions based on hospital standards in accordance with safety and infection control requirements
• Moves and sets up furniture
• Cleans up spills
• Maintains equipment, furniture, and supplies to aid in cost control
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• Required specific skills include, Operate and maintain floor, carpet and upholstery cleaning equipment.
• Six Months of Floor Care experience required.
