Job summary

Vonachen Group is seeking a Floor Tech on a part-time 2nd shift in Peoria, IL. You will perform general and periodic floor care, operate floor equipment, and coordinate activities between customers and the company to ensure high-quality service and safety.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 2–4 years of floor care experience, a valid driver's license with a clean MVR, and excellent verbal/written communication. Flexible hours including evenings and weekends are expected.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required and 2–4 years floor care experience.
• Must meet age and have valid driver's license with clean MVR.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, customer-focused.

Responsibilities

• Perform general floor care: dust, mop, vacuum, scrub and buff.
• Carry out periodic floor care: scrub/wax, strip and wax, extract.
• Maintain floor equipment and supplies.
• Coordinate activities between customers and the company.
• Ensure a safe work environment.

The Floor Tech?is responsible for?all aspects of?floor care,?using?the?latest custodial equipment to provide high quality service levels while adhering to company policies and assisting to provide a safe working environment.?Thisperson must be energetic, enthusiastic, and possess great interpersonal skills to work with a diverse group of people and maintain a strong commitment to customer service.

Job responsibilities:

• Generalfloor care activitiese.g.,dust and wet mop, scrub and buff, vacuum, and bonnet
• Periodic floor care activitiese.g.,scrub and wax, strip and wax, vacuum and extract, pressurewashing
• Manages and maintains floor equipment and floorsupplies
• Maintain a safe workenvironment
• Coordinate activities between the customers and the company
• Complete other duties asassigned

Job requirements:

Skills and Abilities

• Must be 18 years or older and possess avalid driver's license and cleanMVR
• Must have reliable transportation
• Ability to work with littlesupervision
• Possesses excellent verbal and writtencommunicationskills

Education and Experience

Physical Requirements

• Stand and walk for long periods oftime

• Able to work flexible hours including evenings andweekends,possible overnights for specialprojects
