Job summary

Westgate Myrtle Beach Oceanfront Resort in Myrtle Beach, SC is hiring a Floor Care Technician to clean carpets and floors in guest units and public areas, operate and maintain floor cleaning equipment, and strip and wax floors as needed. You’ll work either independently or with a team while upholding Westgate’s service standards.

• Must be able to lift 50lbs and work in outdoor weather conditions.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals.
• High school diploma or general education degree GED.
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays as needed.

What You'll Do as a Floor Care Technician

As a Floor Care Technician at Westgate Resorts you Wax on wax off! Grab your gloves and hit the floor – no, not the dance floor! • Clean carpets and floors in guest units and public areas of the resort
• Operate and maintain all floor cleaning equipment
• Strip and wax floors as needed
• Work independently or with a team

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift 50lbs and work in outdoor weather conditions.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals.
• High school diploma or general education degree GED.
• The Team Member must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Follow instructions without close supervision.
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays as needed.
• Required to pass a background screen, drug test, and prove eligibility to work in the United States.
