Job summary

The Westgate Myrtle Beach Oceanfront Resort is seeking a Floor Care Technician to keep guest areas and units clean and safe. You will operate floor cleaning equipment, strip and wax floors, and work independently or with a team while upholding Westgate’s values of service and integrity.

Candidates should be able to lift up to 50 pounds, read and follow safety instructions, and be available to work weekends and holidays. A high school diploma or GED is required.

Qualifications

• Must lift 50 lbs and work in outdoor weather conditions.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions.
• High school diploma or GED required.

• Clean carpets and floors in guest units and public areas of the resort.
• Operate and maintain all floor cleaning equipment.

What You'll Do as a Floor Care Technician:

As a Floor Care Technician at Westgate Resortsyou Wax on wax off! Grab your gloves and hit the floor – no, not the dance floor! Qualifications

What You'll Bring:

• Must be able to lift 50lbs and work in outdoor weather conditions.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals.
• High school diploma or general education degree GED.
• The Team Member must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Follow instructions without close supervision.
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays as needed.
• Required to pass a background screen, drug test, and prove eligibility to work in the United States.
