Job summary

NexCare Health is seeking a dedicated facilities maintenance/janitorial professional to keep the Dimondale Nursing Care Center clean and well-maintained. This full-time role covers floor care, equipment use, and general cleaning across multiple areas of the facility.

Responsibilities include floor stripping, buffing, carpet care, trash removal, and routine cleaning with various tools and machines. Experience in commercial settings and ability to lift 35 lbs are preferred.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of janitorial experience.
• Floor care experience; knowledge of hard floor surfaces (VCT, Ceramic Tile, Marble, Terrazzo) is a plus.
• Carpet maintenance experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain an outstanding appearance of floors and facilities.
• Use machines and hand tools for cleaning and maintenance.
• Perform routine cleaning: trash removal, mopping, stripping and buffing floors, window cleaning, dusting, sweeping, and furniture polishing.

We can work with your scheduling needs:

• 8 hour shifts with rotating weekends and some holidays
• Full Time

How you will help people every day:

• Maintain an outstanding appearance to all floors (hard floors and carpet) in a facility.
• Use machines and hand tools.
• Perform routine building cleaning under supervision, including trash removal; mopping, stripping, buffing of floors; window cleaning; dusting, dust-mopping, and sweeping; cleaning laboratories; furniture polishing; moving and setting up furniture.

What you will need to be part of ourEPICteam:

• 1+ years of janitorial experience
• Previous floor care experienceand knowledge of cleaning and maintaining hard floor surfaces such as VCT, Ceramic Tile, Marble, Terrazzo a plus but will train the right individual.
• Experience and knowledge in maintaining carpets in a commercial environment is a plus.
• Experience using low speed and high speed floor equipment and carpet cleaning/ extraction equipment is a plus.
• Must be able to clean facility efficiently, which includes walking, standing, reaching, stooping, bending and lifting.
• Must have ability to work with other crew members and take direction from supervisor, must be able to perform all physical aspects of job including lifting at least 35lbs.
