Job summary

Dimondale Nursing Center is seeking a dedicated maintenance/janitorial associate to keep the facility clean, safe, and well-maintained. The role covers flooring, general cleaning, and daily upkeep of all areas to ensure a pleasant environment for residents and staff.

Responsibilities include operating floor machines, window cleaning, and moving furniture as needed. 1+ year of janitorial experience preferred; lifting up to 35 lbs required. Full-time with rotating weekends and holidays available.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of janitorial experience.
• Experience with hard floor surfaces (VCT, ceramic tile, marble) a plus.
• Carpet maintenance experience is a plus.
• Must be able to lift at least 35 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain an outstanding appearance to all floors (hard floors and carpet) in the facility.
• Use machines and hand tools for cleaning and maintenance.
• Perform routine building cleaning under supervision: trash removal, mopping, stripping, buffing, windows, dusting, sweeping.
• Move and set up furniture and assist with basic maintenance tasks.

We can work with your scheduling needs:

• 8 hour shifts with rotating weekends and some holidays

How you will help people every day:

• Maintain an outstanding appearance to all floors (hard floors and carpet) in a facility.
• Use machines and hand tools.
• Perform routine building cleaning under supervision, including trash removal; mopping, stripping, buffing of floors; window cleaning; dusting, dust-mopping, and sweeping; cleaning laboratories; furniture polishing; moving and setting up furniture.

What you will need to be part of ourEPICteam:

• 1+ years of janitorial experience
• Previous floor care experienceand knowledge of cleaning and maintaining hard floor surfaces such as VCT, Ceramic Tile, Marble, Terrazzo a plus but will train the right individual.
• Experience and knowledge in maintaining carpets in a commercial environment is a plus.
• Experience using low speed and high speed floor equipment and carpet cleaning/ extraction equipment is a plus.
• Must be able to clean facility efficiently, which includes walking, standing, reaching, stooping, bending and lifting.
• Must have ability to work with other crew members and take direction from supervisor, must be able to perform all physical aspects of job including lifting at least 35lbs.
