Yona Solutions in Jacksonville, IL seeks a Floor Care Technician to maintain clean and safe floors across resident areas. You will operate floor care equipment, apply stripping, refinishing, and burnishing techniques, and ensure carpet care tasks are performed to standard.

Qualifications

• Experience as a floor care technician or related role preferred.
• Knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques required.
• Able to follow safety procedures due to physical risks.
• Frequent lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Punctual and able to work varying times.
• Criminal background check is required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of hard-surface floor maintenance and use proper procedures on hard floor care including stripping, refinishing and burnishing.
• Utilize equipment for cleaning of large area of floor surface.
• Follow proper procedures on carpet including shampooing, extractions, spot cleaning, vacuuming, etc.
• Operate floor care equipment as assigned.
• Perform maintenance and restorative processes for all floor surface types.
• Disinfects floor care equipment after each use.
• Responsible for the safe and proper mixing and use of cleaning solutions and adheres to all safety precautions.
• Other duties and tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a floor care technician or in related role preferred
• Proven knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques required
• Must be able to follow safety procedures and precautions due to physical risks
• Requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling of up to 50 lbs
• Must be able to be at work on time and at varying times of day/night
• Must be able to accomplish all responsibilities without supervision or other employee assistance
• Must provide a criminal background check
