Job summary

Jennings is hiring a Floor Care Technician in Garfield Heights, OH. This full-time position runs 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with every other weekend and every other holiday required. You will report to the Director of Environmental Services and support facility cleanliness and safety.

Required: High School diploma and experience with floor maintenance equipment. You will perform cleaning, waste disposal, and follow both oral and written directions, while upholding infection control standards.

Position Title: Floor Care Technician

Reports to Director of Environmental Services

• 1. Ability to perform cleaning procedures in accordance with facility policy.
• 2. Ability to perform waste disposal procedures in accordance with facility policy.
• 3. Ability to assist in the general cleanliness of buildings.
• 4. Ability to follow oral directions.
• 5. Ability to follow written directions.
• 6. Ability to assist in the proper care and use of janitorial equipment.
• 7. Ability to attend in-service training programs for janitorial employees.
• 8. Ability to come to work in a clean, neat uniform.
• 9. Ability to follow Resident's rights policies at all times.
• 10. Ability to follow facility safety program.
• 11. Ability to observe infection control procedures related to the Housekeeping Department.
• 12. Ability to come to work as scheduled and consistently demonstrates dependability and punctuality.
• 13. Ability to accept assigned duties in a cooperative manner.
• 14. Ability to assume accountability for data contained in the Staff Handbook.
