Job summary

Ellicott Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing in Buffalo, NY seeks a Floor Tech to join our skilled nursing team. You will be responsible for floor care including stripping, waxing and buffing with routine equipment checks.

We value reliability, attention to detail, teamwork and a strong work ethic. Weekend availability is a plus, and prior supervisor experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Previous floor tech experience; stripping and waxing experience a plus.
• Must be experienced at cleaning with a keen eye for details.
• Maintains a high level of cleanliness and safety throughout designated areas.
• Must be able to work as a team member.
• Solid work ethic with an initiative for quality and customer service.
• Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be reliable and keep to schedule.
• Previous Supervisor experience is preferred.
• Must be available to work some weekends.

Responsibilities

• Strip, wax, and buff floors using appropriate machinery.
• Ensure that all floor care equipment is clean and in working condition.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety across designated areas.
• Work collaboratively with staff to provide quality service.
