Job summary

Willow Valley Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation in Winston-Salem, NC is seeking a Floor Technician for the 3pm-11pm shift. You will maintain floor surfaces across the facility, buffing, mopping, waxing, and operating floor care equipment to keep areas clean, safe, and welcoming for residents, visitors, and staff.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED, the ability to read and communicate in English, and the physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Dependable and self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
• Team player with a positive attitude and commitment to customer service.
• Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs., stand or walk for extended periods, and perform repetitive motions (mopping, buffing, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Maintain facility floors through regular buffing, stripping, waxing, scrubbing, and finishing.
• Operate and maintain floor care equipment safely and correctly.
• Follow safety procedures and report any needed repairs or hazards.
• Assist with general cleaning and sanitation as needed.
• Participate in facility-wide efforts to improve workflow, cleanliness, and resident satisfaction.
• Take on additional projects and responsibilities as assigned.
