Job summary

Glacier Hills Senior Living in Ann Arbor, MI is seeking a Floor Care Technician for a full-time evening shift (7:00 AM - 3:00 PM). The role focuses on maintaining clean, safe, and welcoming environments for residents and visitors within a Trinity Health Senior Communities context.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Trade school education preferred.
• Experience in floor care, environmental services, housekeeping, or maintenance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform floor care duties including stripping, waxing, buffing, polishing, and maintaining hard surface floors.
• Clean carpets through vacuuming, shampooing, deodorizing, and disinfecting.
• Follow established maintenance schedules and procedures.
• Coordinate floor care activities to minimize disruption in resident living areas.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Remove dirt, dust, grease, and debris using proper cleaning methods and products.
• Help create a comfortable and welcoming environment for residents and guests.
