Job summary

Glacier Hills Senior Living Community in Ann Arbor, MI is seeking a dedicated Floor Care Technician to help maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment for residents, visitors, and team members. You will perform floor care duties such as stripping, waxing, buffing and carpet cleaning, following established schedules to minimize disruption.

High school diploma required; trade school preferred. This role is part of Trinity Health Senior Communities, offering strong benefits and growth

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Trade school education preferred.
• Previous floor care, environmental services, housekeeping, or maintenance experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform floor care duties including stripping, waxing, buffing, polishing, and maintaining hard surface floors
• Clean carpets through vacuuming, shampooing, deodorizing, and disinfecting
• Follow established maintenance schedules and procedures
• Coordinate floor care activities to minimize disruption in resident living areas
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Remove dirt, dust, grease, and debris using proper cleaning methods and products
• Help create a comfortable and welcoming environment for residents and guests
