Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have thorough knowledge of techniques involved in stripping and waxing floors including, buffing, sweeping, mopping, top scrubbing, deep cleaning and general floor care and maintenance.
• Must be able to communicate effectively and follow oral or written instructions.
• Must have skills in the use and care of floor maintenance equipment.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain assigned facility areas and perform routine housekeeping tasks.
• Move furniture and deliver housekeeping supplies as required.
• Operate heavy cleaning equipment as needed.
• Follow daily schedules and supervisor instructions; assist with special cleaning assignments.
