Job summary

Sodexo is hiring a Floor Technician at Adventist Health Portland to provide high-quality cleaning services that keep environments safe and healthy. The role focuses on floor care across hard surfaces and carpets, contributing to overall facility cleanliness and safety in a health-care setting.

The ideal candidate will be team-oriented, reliable, and adaptable, with at least 12 months of related experience and familiarity with floor care equipment.

Qualifications

• 12 months of related work experience preferred.
• Experience with floor care equipment and carpet care is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, buff, polish, scrub, strip and refinish hard-surface floors using heavy equipment.
• Vacuum, spot clean and extract carpeted floor surfaces.
• May clean furniture and empty trash, linen, and garbage containers.
• May wash walls and maintain baseboards and cove base molding.
• May assist in training other employees.
• Attends work and shows for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity.
• Other duties may be assigned and can differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and client requirements.
