Job summary

Ohio Living is seeking a Floor Care Associate to perform day-to-day housekeeping duties in a retirement community. You will clean floors, carpets, bathrooms, and maintain supplies to keep resident areas safe, clean, and comfortable.

The role requires attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to follow federal, state, and local guidelines. Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent and at least one year of housekeeping experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• One year of housekeeping experience is preferred.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Knowledge of floor care and cleaning materials is preferred.
• Willingness to work weekends, evenings and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily floor care services with nursing staff.
• Clean floors, carpets, bathrooms, and fixtures to maintain cleanliness and safety.
• Maintain adequate floor care supplies and report needs to supervisor.
• Ensure resident living areas are clean, safe, and comfortable.
• Complete records as required by company standards.
