Job summary

Harvard Maintenance is seeking a Janitorial Floor Tech to clean, maintain, and restore carpeted and hard floors across our facilities. You will operate floor care equipment, follow safety procedures, and deliver high-quality service with minimal supervision.

We offer a competitive hourly wage, benefits including medical, dental, life and LTD, plus a 401K plan. Evening shifts (M–F 6pm–2:30am) and weekend coverage may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in floor care or janitorial is a plus.
• Knowledge of floor care techniques for various surfaces.
• Familiarity with operating and maintaining floor care equipment.
• Understanding of cleaning chemicals and safe usage practices.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality service upholding Environmental Services standards.
• Clean and care for tile, carpet, and brick floors.
• Follow procedures for proper chemical use.
• Operate floor cleaning equipment safely.
• Work independently with minimal supervision.
