Job summary

Southern Cleaning Services is seeking personnel to perform general cleaning across facilities in Georgia. Duties include sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, waxing, vacuuming, and caring for various floor types by hand or with equipment.

Responsibilities also cover cleaning restrooms, dusting, cleaning glass and fixtures, and following safety procedures with chemicals and power tools. Physical stamina and adherence to safety are required.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, scrub, strip, wax, and vacuum floors.
• Care for different floor types by hand or with equipment.
• Follow procedures for cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage.
• Prepare cleaning solutions by mixing water with detergents or acids.
• Clean and service restrooms and furniture.
• Dust furniture, walls, machines, and equipment.
• Clean laboratory equipment with appropriate tools.
• Monitor security and safety, including locking doors after hours.
• Report major repairs or additions to building systems.
• Remove snow from sidewalks and parking areas where applicable.
• Set up and arrange facilities for events and assist with transfers between facilities.
