Job summary

Goodwill of Central and Coastal Virginia seeks a Full-Time Floor Technician Assistant to support the supervisor in providing high-quality floor care across the Richmond area. You will assist in training associates, perform stripping and waxing, and ensure equipment is properly cared for and transported as needed.

Responsibilities include covering shifts in the supervisor's absence, monitoring supplies, and performing occasional dusting or restroom cleaning.

Responsibilities

• Assist Floor Technician Supervisor with directing floor care team and ensure tasks meet quality standards.
• Train associates in floor care, cleaning techniques, schedules, supplies usage, equipment operation and safety.
• Transport equipment to offsite work areas using company van/truck.
• Perform floor care across Richmond area per manager's schedule (dust mopping, wet mopping, stripping and waxing, buffing, carpet extraction).
• Monitor use of supplies and equipment; request additional supplies as needed.
• Clean floor equipment after use and report any repairs needed.
• May perform dusting and restroom cleaning as needed.
