Title:Floor Care LeadJob Description:Job OverviewThe Floor Care Lead will be responsible for coordinating activities within the Floor Care Program. The individual will inspect and audit areas, equipment, and working conditions to ensure compliance with sanitation and OSHA regulations.Roles & ResponsibilitiesTo perform this job successfully and safely, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned.Perform duties of employees within the program assignedTrain and instruct employees in tasks, safety, policies, and proceduresCoordinate and monitors work activitiesWritten reports, such as pass down, weekly, or monthlyPerform quality, service, and safety inspectionsTrack equipment inventory, maintenance, and repairTrack supplies inventory and maintainedMonitor employees for proper use of personal protective equipmentReport employee personnel and customer issues to supervisorCorrect at risk behavior immediately, then report to the supervisor immediatelyReport accidents and incidents to the supervisor immediatelyMaintain records, i.e. training, inspections, attendance and metric dataQualificationTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Completed all safety and task training certification. May be required to be forklift certifiedKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Ability to read and interpret instructions, procedures, manuals, and other documentsStrong verbal and written communication skillsKnowledge of cleaning methods and equipment and willing to share with teamKnowledge of the upkeep and care of the cleaning equipmentKnowledge of cleaning compounds and chemicals, and their safe, efficient useSupervisory ResponsibilitiesThis position has no supervisory responsibilities.Physical Demands & Work EnvironmentThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
