Job summary

Challenge Unlimited in Saint Robert, MO is hiring a Floor Care Janitor at Fort Leonard Wood. This full-time role features a flex day shift from 7:00am to 3:30pm, with occasional night hours for floor stripping and waxing.

You will maintain floor care across buildings, operate cleaning equipment, and assist with restroom cleaning and restocking. Candidates should be able to lift up to 45 lbs and pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Maintains floor care in various buildings, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, scrubbing, stripping, waxing and buffing floors.
• Operates floor care equipment and cleans hard surfaces with appropriate solutions.
• Maintains and minor repairs on equipment; performs preventative maintenance.
• Assists crew with cleaning bathrooms, restocking supplies, and trash removal.
• Follows proper labeling, dilution, and use of all chemicals.
• Reports to the Project Manager and supports contract-required tasks.

Position Summary:

We are currently hiring aFloor Care Janitor Position at Fort Leonard Wood, Saint Robert MO.

Schedule: Full Time
Salary:$17.75
Shift: Flex, Day -Monday-Friday
Hours: 7:00am-3:30pm, but some duties will require night hours of 5:00pm - 1:30am for stripping and waxing floors.

Typical Duties:

• Maintains floor care in various buildings. Sweeps, vacuums, dust mops, wet mops, scrubs, strips, restores, waxes floor, buffs, cleans carpets, power scrub floors.
• Operates floor care equipment. clean and maintains hard surface floors using various kinds of power equipment and cleaning solutions.
• Maintains equipment by performing preventative and minor maintenance.
• Assist crew in completing contract required tasks: clean, sanitize, and restock bathrooms, including sweep and mop floors, sinks, toilets, glass and mirror, stall walls. Vacuum, sweep, mop of floors and stairs. Empty all trash cans and replace liners, clean receptacles as Necessary.
• Proper labeling, dilution and use of all chemicals.
• And other related duties as required.
• Reports to the Project Manager
