Job summary

Challenge Unlimited is seeking a Floor Care Janitor for Fort Leonard Wood in Saint Robert, MO. This full-time position runs 7:00am–3:30pm with some night hours for floor stripping and waxing, and reports to the Project Manager.

Duties include cleaning floors, restrooms, and common areas, operating floor care equipment, and maintaining chemicals and supplies. Candidates should be able to lift up to 45 lbs and pass background checks, with reliable communication and the ability to follow

Responsibilities

• Maintain floor care in various buildings, including sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, stripping, waxing.

• Perform preventative and minor maintenance on equipment.
• Assist with cleaning bathrooms and restocking supplies.
• Label, dilute, and use cleaning chemicals properly.
• Report to the Project Manager.

Position Summary:

We are currently hiring aFloor Care Janitor Position at Fort Leonard Wood, Saint Robert MO.

Schedule: Full Time
Salary:$17.75
Shift: Flex, Day -Monday-Friday
Hours: 7:00am-3:30pm, but some duties will require night hours of 5:00pm - 1:30am for stripping and waxing floors.

Typical Duties:

• Maintains floor care in various buildings. Sweeps, vacuums, dust mops, wet mops, scrubs, strips, restores, waxes floor, buffs, cleans carpets, power scrub floors.
• Operates floor care equipment. clean and maintains hard surface floors using various kinds of power equipment and cleaning solutions.
• Maintains equipment by performing preventative and minor maintenance.
• Assist crew in completing contract required tasks: clean, sanitize, and restock bathrooms, including sweep and mop floors, sinks, toilets, glass and mirror, stall walls. Vacuum, sweep, mop of floors and stairs. Empty all trash cans and replace liners, clean receptacles as Necessary.
• Proper labeling, dilution and use of all chemicals.
• And other related duties as required.
• Reports to the Project Manager
