Job summary

Covenant Living seeks a Floor and Custodial Technician to perform cleaning and light maintenance across the campus, ensuring facilities are in good condition for residents and staff. You will follow schedules, use floor care equipment, and handle basic upkeep tasks in a supportive living environment.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma and an interest in working with older adults, with English communication and dependability as key assets.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, verbal and written.
• Dependable with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Experience or interest in housekeeping, maintenance, and custodial tasks.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions with minimal supervision.
• Interest in working with older adults is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform general building custodial and cleaning tasks in assigned areas as scheduled.
• Clean emergency areas and perform project cleaning (walls, ceilings, vents, windows).
• Maintain floors through sweeping, mopping, waxing, and buffing as scheduled.
• Move furniture, remove trash, and report repairs needed to facilities staff.
• Assist in linen handling and stock supplies for daily operations.
