Job summary

Evolving Solution Services is seeking a Flood Technician in Fort Wright, KY to assist the operation and maintenance of the flood system and its assets. This role supports the flood first responders program and ensures readiness during flood events, including maintenance of ARV-related pumps and valves.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, strong computer skills, and deep knowledge of flood system operations. On-site work with 7–105??

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; higher education or related certification preferred.
• Proficiency with computers, tablets, and uploading files to devices or equipment.
• Extensive knowledge of SD1 pump and flood station operations; keep up to date on collection system changes.
• Safety procedures awareness and adherence are essential.
• Teamwork and cooperation are required to build positive working relationships.
• Ability to communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Keep the flood system operating and maintained year-round.
• Assist in managing flood first responders during a flood event.
• Create a schedule during flood events to maintain 24/7 operation.
• Oversee contractors on flood-related projects.
• Create and manage work orders for maintenance.
• Perform yearly inspections for all flood assets.
• Maintain flood stations for public-facing optics.
• Understand flood system and river level projections.
