Job summary

ChoiceOne Bank is seeking a Teller who will float to branch locations including Birch Run, Montrose, Chesaning, New Lothrop, St. Charles and Thomas Township.

You will handle transactions accurately and provide world-class service as the face of the bank, while identifying opportunities to refer customers to bankers. As a Teller, you will report to the Assistant Branch Manager and Branch Manager, perform daily balancing, and strive to meet sales/referral goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Prior cash handling experience preferred (minimum 6 months).
• Strong customer service and communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Perform and follow the Bank’s policies, procedures, and customer service standards.
• Operate teller window and balance daily transactions.
• Meet and exceed teller sale/referral goals.
• Process cash and non-cash bank transactions accurately and confidentially.
• Develop knowledge of banking products and services; refer customers to bankers as appropriate.
• Build relationships with clients and identify needs for referrals to bankers.
