Job summary

Arvato Bertelsmann is seeking a Floating Supervisor to ensure timely order completion and optimize labor resources across pick/pack/ship operations in Wisconsin. You will partner with the control tower to prioritize orders and oversee shipping, picking, packing and traffic while training new staff.

The role requires at least 3 years of supervisory experience, SAP and/or WMS exposure, and inventory research proficiency.

Qualifications

• 3 years of supervisory experience, or equivalent work experience.
• Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
• 3 years in an SAP and/or WMS environment.
• Experience with inventory research.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage the labor and equipment of the Pick/Pack/Ship operation.
• Ensure on-time completion and maintain quality of orders to meet customer requirements.
• Work with control tower on labor management and priority of orders. You will oversee direct shipping, pick, and pack and traffic.
• Supervise and coordinates activities of employees.
• Receiving of materials.
• Transferring of materials.
• Hire and ensure proper training of new employees for the picking, packing, and shipping departments.
• Ensure proper procedures are adhered to and up to date for the control tower for current and new customers.
• Performance management of all employees (KPI's).
• Document, update and ensure procedures and quality processes are followed.
• Maintain supplies and equipment levels for the department.
• Monitor and adhere to customer requests and vendor specific shipping requirements.
• Update and maintain Kronos and Metrics in excel, as it relates to WMS reporting.
• Monitor picking packing and shipping functions on the floor.
• Ensure that shift end specific procedures with all shipping systems are completed and floor end of shift close out are followed.
