The Quad Preparatory School is seeking an enthusiastic Upper School Floating Associate Teacher – STEM for the 2026-27 school year. This exempt role (ten-month schedule) offers mentorship from clinicians and academic admins, with responsibilities to substitute and support both head and psychosocial teachers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in education or related field; STEM background preferred.
• Experience teaching grades 6-12 in a school setting.
• Master’s degree and/or special education training are advantageous.
• Secondary or special education teaching credential preferred.
• Experience with twice-exceptional learners is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Take on head teacher or psychosocial teacher responsibilities with lesson plans and teacher directions.
• Report back on activities accomplished during another teacher’s absence.
• Develop and implement emergency lesson plans when needed.
• Push into homeroom classes for interdisciplinary lessons and classroom support.
• Perform administrative tasks for Upper School faculty and administration.
• Follow school policies and professional code; utilize Google Suite tools.
• Attend faculty meetings and required events; participate in special programs.
