Job summary

Mission Rock Residential, LLC is seeking a Service Technician for our Blu at Northline community in Charlotte, NC. You will diagnose and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and more, while delivering excellent resident service and contributing to a high‑quality living experience.

Your day will include handling work orders, inspecting properties for safety, and coordinating with property management to address issues promptly. A valid driver’s license and strong communication skills are required.

• 1 year of property maintenance experience or related trade.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to diagnose and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and related systems.

What You’ll Do

As a Service Technician, you’ll provide excellent customer service to prospective and current residents while promoting a quality living experience for all. From completing work orders to routine check-ups, you’ll use your hands‑on expertise to ensure residents feel proud to call our communities home.

Your Day-to-day May Include

• Diagnose problems and perform assigned repairs in the areas of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, swimming pools, carpentry, dry wall repair, exterior structures, and appliances.


• Ensures assigned work order requests are responded to promptly and professionally.


• Inspect buildings to ensure safety and cleanliness, alerting the Service Manager and Property Manager immediately to items that need to be addressed.

What You Bring

• Minimum 1 year of previous experience in property management maintenance, other building maintenance or related trade is required.


• CPO Certification (desired/required depending on property)


• Strong communication and customer service skills


• Organizational and time-management abilities


• A collaborative, solutions-focused, “can-do” attitude


• Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation

The expected compensation range for this position is $26.00 – $28.00, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience.
