Job summary

Morgan Properties in Bedford, TX is seeking a dedicated Service Technician to keep our 265-unit community well‑maintained. You’ll troubleshoot HVAC, appliances, carpentry, electrical and plumbing issues while delivering friendly, timely service to residents.

This role requires a valid driver's license, and living within a 30‑minute commute of the property. We offer a competitive base pay, up to 50% rent discount, medical/dental/vision, 401(k) with company match, generous PTO and a weekday

• HVAC / EPA / CFC certification preferred.
• One year of related experience or an equivalent education/experience mix.
• Ability to live within a 30-minute commute of the property.

• Maintain interior and exterior areas per company standards and laws.

As a Maintenance Technician at Morgan Properties, you will:

• Be responsible fortrouble‑shooting service issues including, but not limited to, HVAC, general appliance, carpentry, electrical and plumbing.
• Maintain interior and exterior areas in accordance with company standards, compliance requirements, and applicable laws
• Respond promptly and efficiently to maintenance service tickets
• Communicate clearly and professionally with residents and office staff regarding repairs and updates

Compensation & Incentives

• Base Pay: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour
• Up to 50% Rent Discount
• Property Staff Shared Renewal Commissions
• On-Call Appreciation: $15/day for holding the on-call phone

• Generous Paid Time Off, including 10 holidays per year and sick leave
• Monday - Friday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• Paid rotating on-call participation requiredMust be available and prepared for emergency events
