Job summary

Aurora Health Care, Inc. is seeking an Registered Nurse to provide care across med/surg, pediatrics, NICU, and post-partum areas. You will participate in governance, apply evidence-based practices, and maintain high-quality patient care during a 6-bed unit with float possibilities.

Requirements include an approved nursing program, active RN license, BLS, and ability to work in a fast-paced setting. Telehealth licensing rules apply where applicable.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active, unrestricted RN license with privileges to practice where required.
• BLS certification required; additional certifications may be required by specialty.
• Telehealth/tele-nursing licensure rules apply as appropriate.

Responsibilities

• Engages in unit councils, governance, and quality initiatives.
• Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate care.
• Monitors patient conditions, adjusts care plans, and collaborates with the care team.
• Upholds and promotes a culture of safety.
• May administer medications, treatments, and therapies per protocols.
• Maintains accurate, timely EHR documentation.
• May float to other units or facilities as needed.
• Demonstrates strong communication and teamwork.
• Completes required education and maintains certifications.
• Adheres to ANA Code of Ethics and maintains ethical practice.
