Job summary

Jefferson Health is seeking a dedicated RN for the Division Resource / Float Pool at Abington, to cover day shifts in a full-time role. You will coordinate patient care, develop individualized plans with patients and families, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, high-quality outcomes.

The role emphasizes evidence-based practice, education for patients, and precepting responsibilities within a supportive hospital setting. A PA RN license and BLS are required.

Qualifications

• Specialized Diploma graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• BSN strongly preferred within 3 years of hire.
• 1 year RN experience in an acute care setting preferred.
• BLS certification required (AHA).
• Licensed RN in PA.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient- and family-centered care using the nursing process.
• Develop care plans with the patient and designated care partner(s).
• Collaborate with inter-professional teams to deliver care.
• Apply evidence-based practices to improve quality and safety.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, and next steps.
• Follow nursing protocols and participate in safety initiatives.
• Assist with precepting and mentoring appropriate staff.
