Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active RN license with privileges to practice in applicable states.
• BLS certification required; additional certifications may be required by specialty.

Responsibilities

• Engages in unit councils, governance, and quality initiatives to improve care processes.
• Utilizes nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate care; engage patients and families.
• Monitors patient conditions, adjusts care plans, collaborates with care team to improve outcomes.
• Upholds and promotes a culture of safety.
• May administer medications, treatments, and therapies per protocols.
• Maintains accurate, timely EHR documentation.
