Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking an RN for full-time 36-hour weeks at Oshkosh. The role floats to cardiac med/surg, ortho, pediatrics, and ICU, with a block schedule and every third weekend. 6 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.

shifts, 12-hour blocks, and two holidays per year. The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, collaborate with the health care team, and promote safety and quality across departments. WA state licensure not required here; Wisconsin RN license required, with BLS

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse license required.
• Completion of an accredited nursing program.
• Typically 1 year of clinical nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Apply nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care with patient/family involvement.
• Monitor patient status, anticipate changes, adjust plans and coordinate with care team.
• Promote patient safety, and tailor education to patient/family readiness.
• Coordinate discharge using interdisciplinary approach and evidence-based practice.
• Communicate effectively and lead care team, delegating to unlicensed staff when appropriate.
• Engage in quality/process improvement and maintain professional development.
