Job summary

Hy-Vee is seeking a Registered Pharmacist to join our Pharmacy team. You will fill and verify prescriptions, counsel patients, and support the pharmacy team to deliver trusted patient care.

This role requires a college degree and pharmacy licensure; continuing education to keep license active is expected. Immunizations are administered as certified, and you will participate in wellness programs and community outreach.

Qualifications

• College degree and pharmacy licensure required; continuing education to keep license active
• Medication Therapy Management (MTM) experience preferred
• Ability to administer immunizations required

Responsibilities

• Fill and verify prescriptions and counsel patients in accordance with OBRA '90 regulations and all state and federal statutes and regulations
• Support pharmacy team and participate in wellness programs and community outreach
• Administer immunizations as certified
• Maintain confidentiality of patients' privacy and prescription information per HIPAA
• Lead department in the absence of the Pharmacy Manager
