Our Floating Quality Control Technician will be responsible for all final quality control inspections to ensure adherence to company quality standards for all mechanical, electrical, structural, and finish trades. This position will cover and fill in as needed along the Gulf Coast areas in Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, and Florida panhandle.

What You'll Do
- Conducts inspections upon building/project completion and uses inspection checklists to monitor compliance.
- Completes other Quality Assurance documents and reports as required by Stoa QA program
- Collaborate and communicate with on site construction field teams regarding your planned time on site, as well as issues that you are seeing and areas where there are opportunities for improvement.
- Acts as an "internal customer" prior to the Community Management team to ensure high levels of quality and functionality are delivered.
- Manage your schedule between active jobs and plan QC visits based on the project schedule accordingly.
- Participate in preparatory meetings and regular progress meetings in the assigned area.
- Perform other duties as specified by QA Manager.
Job Requirements & Skills
- 1-5 years of experience in residential construction; other pertinent work experience will be considered (completed coursework in construction management accepted in place of experience).
- Ability to work independently without supervision in a deadline-driven environment
- High level of organization skills and acute attention to detail
- Current driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to read and comprehend construction drawings/blueprints at a basic level
- The position requires 90% travel along the Gulf Coast areas in Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, and Florida panhandle.but may go up to 100% during peak times.
- Ability to lift equipment weighing up to 30lbs and stand and walk for extended periods
