Preferred Therapy Solutions is seeking a full-time Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to float across our sub-acute/skilled nursing rehab sites in Glastonbury, CT. The PTA will provide compassionate care and collaborate with rehab therapists and nursing staff, ensuring residents achieve their highest level of independence while maintaining accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• Provide comprehensive and compassionate therapy services in a sub-acute/skilled nursing facility setting.
• Work collaboratively with other rehab therapists and nursing staff in a supportive team-working environment.
• Possess a current Physical Therapy Assistant license or be license eligible to practice in the state employed
• Demonstrate strong computer skills with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and have experience with electronic documentation
• Demonstrate good attention to detail and timeliness with documentation
• Work well with others in a team setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive PTA services in sub-acute/skilled nursing facilities.
• Float to multiple facilities throughout the North Central CT region.
• Collaborate with rehab therapists and nursing staff in a supportive team.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
