Job summary

A community-focused organization located in Southbridge is seeking a part-time team member to assist in a child development center. You will work under the guidance of the Lead Teacher to implement daily curriculum and provide a nurturing environment for children. Ideal candidates are at least 18 years of age, possess current CPR and First Aid certifications, and have previous experience working with children. This role also offers access to YMCA facilities and employee benefits.

Qualifications

• Must obtain, and keep current, certification in CPR, First Aid, and Child Abuse Prevention.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Previous experience working with children in a developmental setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the classroom teacher in setting up and implementing daily curriculum.
• Provide a quality experience to children focusing on YMCA values.
• Supervise outdoor play, handwashing, and toileting.
