Job summary

STAR Physical Therapy in Tennessee seeks a licensed Physical Therapist to serve as a Floater across our Middle Tennessee clinic locations. You will perform evaluations, develop personalized treatment plans, and supervise staff to ensure high-quality care.

As part of our team, you’ll contribute to clinical development, participate in mentorship programs, and engage with community outreach efforts while maintaining adherence to state regulations and ethics.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapy Program.
• TN PT license is required; CPR certification.
• Ability to work autonomously with basic PC skills (EMR, MS Office).

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive PT evaluations assessing physical status, ROM, strength, posture, ambulation, balance, and ADLs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evaluation results.
• Maintain accurate records and prepare reports per facility procedures.
• Interact professionally with patients, family members, and staff.
• Supervise PTAs, Exercise Physiologists, Technicians, Certified Athletic Trainers, and students in direct and indirect patient care.
• Assist in outreach community events and contribute to program development and professional growth.
