Job summary
MainStreet Family Care is seeking a Physician Assistant to support multiple clinics in Northeast Florida in a fast-paced urgent care environment. You will perform minor surgeries, suturing, splinting, and general orthopedic and dermatologic care, with opportunities in telemedicine and occupational medicine.
The ideal candidate holds PA board certification and an MSN or higher, with strong communication skills and EMR/MS Office proficiency.
Qualifications
- Physician Assistant Board Certification required
- MSN or higher education required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience working in EMR and Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, etc.) preferred
Responsibilities
- Minor surgery (toenail removal, foreign object removal, etc.)
- Suturing
- Splinting
- General Orthopedic evaluations/management
- Review of x-rays (to be over-read by Radiologist, too)
- General Dermatology
- General eye problems
- General EKG interpretations
- Emergency management skills
- General GYN expertise
- Treating children of all ages
- Occupational medicine
- Telemedicine
