Applicants must ALREADY HAVE a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) class A or B WITH Passenger ('P') endorsement, and CANNOT HAVE restrictions: 'L' or 'Z' (not able to drive vehicles with air brakes) or 'N' (passenger endorsement restriction).

Reporting Location: 300 Prince St. Shippensburg, PA 17257 (Shippensburg Office - Richard D. Rife Alumni House). Will support services in Shippensburg, Cumberland, and Franklin counties.

Pay: $50-$55K with extremely competitive, low-cost benefits.

Job Summary:

This role is vital in helping the Susquehanna Regional Transportation Authority fulfill its mission of mobility. The position ensures excellent customer service, safety, and on-time performance of SRTA's fixed route and specialized transit systems. Responsibilities include supervising dispatchers and drivers, resolving operational issues, ensuring policy compliance, and maintaining good labor and employee relations.

Key Responsibilities include:

1. Monitoring daily operations, supporting customer service goals, and providing feedback.
2. Ensuring compliance with ADA, FTA, PennDot, and SRTA policies; managing personnel actions in coordination with HR.
3. Supervising dispatching and operational staff, maintaining reliable on-time service, and addressing service disruptions.
4. Evaluating operator competency, ensuring vehicle safety, and coordinating safety training.
5. Responding to accidents or emergencies, investigating incidents, and coordinating corrective actions.
6. Maintaining rapport with drivers, documenting procedures, and training staff.
7. Supporting the Agency Safety Plan and supervising staff performance and discipline.

Certificates and Licenses Required:

• Valid class 'B' CDL with passenger endorsement and air brake restriction lifted, not under suspension or revocation, with current automobile insurance.
• Valid DOT medical card.
• This is a safety-sensitive position subject to US DOT drug and alcohol testing.
