Applicants must ALREADY HAVE a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) class A or B with Passenger ('P') endorsement, and CANNOT HAVE restrictions: 'L' or 'Z' (not able to drive vehicles with air brakes) or 'N' (passenger endorsement restriction).
Reporting Location: 300 Prince St. Shippensburg, PA 17257 (Shippensburg Office - Richard D. Rife Alumni House). Will support services in Shippensburg, Cumberland, and Franklin counties.
Pay: $50,000 - $55,000 with competitive, low-cost benefits.
Job Summary:
This position is critical in helping the Susquehanna Regional Transportation Authority meet its mission of mobility. It involves maintaining excellent customer service, safe, reliable, and on-time performance of SRTA's fixed route and specialized transit systems. Responsibilities include supervising dispatchers and drivers, resolving operational issues, ensuring policy compliance, and maintaining good labor and employee relations.
Key Reporting Relationship:
Reports to the Site Manager or COO. Supervises SRTA operational personnel.
