Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
• CNA is preferred. Maintains required department competencies.
• If ND/MN and not CNA, must be on NA Registry within four months from hire.
• If WI, must be on Wisconsin Nurse Aide Registry.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under supervision of RN/LPN.
• Assist with bathing, grooming, toileting, eating, meal preparation and dining.
• Record vital statistics and other basic health information.
• Prepare treatment areas, clean medical equipment, and dispose of biomedical waste as required.
• Provide one-on-one care to patients when necessary for safe provision of care.
