Job summary

Novus Adult Care Services is seeking a dependable full-time Floating Nurse to support patient care across Bridgeport, PA and Doylestown, PA. The role offers competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

You will collaborate with nurse practitioners, perform assessments, phlebotomy, testing, and care coordination for infectious diseases and HIV care, while ensuring HIPAA compliance and accurate EMR documentation across locations.

Qualifications

• Associate degree, bachelor's degree, or diploma from an approved nursing program.
• Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Pennsylvania.
• Current BLS certification.
• CPR and ACLS as required.
• 3+ years of clinical experience in a related field.
• Proficiency in phlebotomy and specimen collection.
• Knowledge of infection control and safety guidelines.
• Ability to maintain accurate and confidential patient records.
• Experience with EMR systems and billing processes.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments, obtain vitals, and prepare patients for examinations.
• Administer injections, medications, and manage testing and phlebotomy.
• Maintain accurate, confidential EMR records and ensure HIPAA compliance.
• Coordinate care with Nurse Practitioners and other healthcare professionals.
• Educate patients on STD/HIV prevention and counseling; support transmission risk reduction.
• Train and supervise medical assistants and phlebotomists; ensure infection-control measures.
