Theragenics is seeking a Floating Lab Technician in Buford, GA, to support manufacturing operations, maintain quality, and contribute to life-saving medical devices. The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and cross-functional collaboration with warehouse, engineering, and quality teams.

The position requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and at least 1 year of manufacturing/assembly experience, with small parts assembly preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year in manufacturing/assembly.
• Experience with small parts assembly is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with warehouse, shipping, engineering, health/safety, and quality teams to meet manufacturing objectives.
• Manage inventory of raw materials and processing aids.
• Assemble cold subassemblies using manual or semi-automated processes.
• Handle radioactive components safely in fume hoods.
• Operate, start up, shut down, and troubleshoot automated welding equipment.
• Wash, test, and inspect radioactive seeds for contamination and visual criteria.
• Maintain accurate paperwork for device history records and lot traceability.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
