Job summary

Providence Swedish seeks a Float Pool Medical Assistant to support multiple care teams across major campuses, including Issaquah, Edmonds, Cherry Hill, First Hill and more. The role covers varied schedules, including weekdays and weekends, with premium travel pay of $2.50 per hour in addition to base pay.

The successful candidate will provide both clinical and administrative support to ensure efficient patient care and smooth clinic operations in diverse care settings, demonstrating adaptability

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited medical assistant program or equivalent hands-on clinical training.
• Minimum one year of MA experience including vital signs, injections, and medication administration.
• Washington Medical Assistant Certification upon hire.
• BLS from American Heart Association within 30 days of hire.
• Clinic-based medical assisting experience (0–6 months) is acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical and administrative support to ensure efficient patient care across multiple clinics.
• Support multiple care teams in Primary Care, Pediatrics, Specialty Care, and Women’s Health.
• Travel to Providence Swedish campuses to provide flexible staffing support.
• Contribute to smooth clinic operations and high-quality patient experiences in fast-paced settings.
