Providence Swedish is seeking a Float Pool Medical Assistant to support multiple care teams across Seattle-area campuses. The role involves flexible clinic schedules, weekdays and weekends, and travel between Issaquah, Edmonds, Cherry Hill, First Hill, Ballard, and satellites.

The position emphasizes clinical and administrative support with a premium travel pay of $2.50 per hour in addition to base pay, and requires strong communication and adaptability within various teams.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school that includes hands on training in a clinical setting for medical assistants.
• Graduate of a registered medical assistant apprenticeship program.
• Has completed two years of medical training in the United States Armed Forces.
• Minimum one year of work experience as a medical assistant that includes vital signs, injections, and medication administration.
• Washington Medical Assistant Certification upon hire.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire.
• 6 months - Healthcare experience.
• 6 months - Medical Assistant experience.

Responsibilities
