Job summary

Providence Swedish is seeking a Float Pool Medical Assistant to travel among campuses such as Issaquah, Edmonds, Cherry Hill, First Hill, Ballard, and satellite clinics to staffing needs across primary care, pediatrics, specialty care, and women's health. You will support diverse teams with flexible schedules including weekdays and weekends.

The role offers premium travel pay of $2.50/hour in addition to base pay and requires adaptability, strong communication, and the ability to work within

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited medical assistant program or equivalent hands-on training.
• Completion of a registered medical assistant apprenticeship program.
• Two years of medical training in US Armed Forces or equivalent.
• Minimum one year of MA work experience with vital signs, injections and medication administration.
• Washington Medical Assistant Certification is required upon hire.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire.
• Medical assisting experience in a clinic setting (0-6 months).

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical support across primary care, pediatrics, specialty care and women's health.
• Deliver administrative support to ensure efficient patient care and clinic operations.
• Collaborate with multiple care teams and adapt to various workflows in fast-paced environments.
