Job summary

MaxHealth seeks a Floating Medical Assistant to support four Dallas–Fort Worth clinics with front desk and clinical duties. The role moves daily between sites to cover staffing gaps, perform vital signs, injections, specimen collection, and EMR documentation while ensuring a consistent patient experience.

Ideal candidates are adaptable, well-organized, bilingual in English and Spanish preferred, and able to travel reliably with a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of Medical Assistant experience in a physician office or clinical setting.
• Front office / patient scheduling experience preferred.
• Knowledge of nursing principles, clinical protocols, and medical terminology.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, EMR systems, and medical practice management software.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between four DFW-area clinics.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Adaptable to different clinic environments with short notice.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Compassionate, patient-first attitude.

Responsibilities

• Travel between four DFW-area clinic locations to provide front office and/or clinical coverage.
• Greet patients and manage front desk duties and scheduling across sites.
• Take vital signs and perform MA duties as signed off.
• Document activities in the EMR and handle specimen collection.
• Maintain rooms between patients and ensure infection control practices.
