Job summary

Mashcole Property Management, Inc. is seeking a Floating Maintenance Technician to support multiple San Fernando Valley properties, including Canoga Park, CA.

This is a full-time, hourly position with a wage range of $25.00–$35.00 per hour. You will handle preventative maintenance on HVAC, water heaters, electrical, plumbing and appliances, assist with inspections and move-outs, maintain supply inventories, and follow all safety and Fair Housing regulations while collaborating with the Regional

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Trade school training preferred for maintenance work.
• Experience with electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and appliance repair is valued.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate work order requests/on-call log records.
• Assist with ordering supplies and maintaining inventory.
• Assist in preparation of bi-annual property inspections.
• Attend and participate in training seminars and management meetings.
• Maintain daily upkeep of mechanical equipment per preventive maintenance program.
• Diagnose problems and assist with maintenance tasks (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances).
• Assist in exterior cleaning and maintenance of common areas.
• Assist with annual unit inspections.
• Assist with apartment cleaning/trash-out at move-outs.
• Report liability and property incidents to management.
